Welcome to the Environmental Energy Research Association. EERA is a not-for-profit corporation committed to the research, development and provision of environmental solutions and technologies required by today’s clean energy producers and developers.

Our clients are committed to producing clean, renewable energy and / or alternative fuels in an environmentally responsible manner.

As green-house gasses continue to rise and impact our planet action needs to be taken by deploying clean, safe, reliable and cost-effective electricity and alternative fuels generation systems to support our Federal and Provincial climate-change-mitigation goals & commitments.

In deploying this clean-energy production equipment (solar, wind and small hydro, biogas) other environmental issues can be encountered and must also be addressed, solved or sufficiently mitigated. This is important to ensure that our total environment is protected to the satisfaction of all stakeholders including government regulators, conservation groups, first nations and the local community.

EERA is focused on the research, development and field testing of solutions to solve environmental issues associated with the deployment of clean energy generation equipment.

OUR SERVICES INCLUDE:

• Research, development and field testing of novel technologies, systems and methods to address environmental issues associated with green energy and alternative fuels production. This research includes new fish passage technologies and methods to comply with the revised Federal Fisheries Act.
• Sourcing of technologies and equipment to support the production of clean energy and alternative fuels.
• Collaboration with producers, regulators and all other stakeholders to develop better methods of achieving our climate change goals.

We look forward to working with everyone involved to produce mutually acceptable renewable energy and fuels facilities in Atlantic Canada for today and tomorrow.
